Yes. Hanmer Springs has 3 separate ‘family rooms’ for changing and 4 disabled/special use shower/changing rooms. Amberley has 2 disabled/special use shower/changing rooms, and 1 family/baby change/ toilet changing room (no shower).

Policy under development. NZ Recreation guidance followed - Trans and gender diverse guidelines for exercise and recreation providers

Clear signage - Toilets/Changing/Showers/Baby Change, Male, Female, Family, Disabled – using words and images.

Q5: At your sites, which changing room and showering facilities is a trans-identified male permitted to use?

All trans and gender diverse people are able to use toilets, changing rooms, showers, and other facilities appropriate to their gender.

Q6: If applicable, do your facilities allow trans-identifying males to attend Women Only swim sessions?

Not applicable
