The outdoor changing rooms are;
1 female that has 2 toilet cubicles, 2 shower heads in a communal space and communal changing area
1 male that has 2 toilet cubicles, 3 shower heads in a communal space, 2 single urinettes and communal changing area.
These are labelled Male and Female

Indoor pool facilities are;
1 unisex toilet with a baby change table
6 single unisex changing cubicles
2 single unisex shower cubicles
1 unisex accessible toilet with changing bed & hoist. These are labelled Unisex

Swim Zone Morrinsville
1 female toilets with 5 toilet cubicles, 2 single showers. Labelled Female
1 female changing room that is all communal. Labelled Female
1 male toilets with 3 toilet cubicles, 1 urinal and 2 single showers. Labelled male
1 male changing room that is all communal. Labelled male
1 unisex family accessible changeroom with 1 toilet and 1 shower. Labelled unisex

Swim Zone Te Aroha
1 female toilets with 2 toilet cubicles, 2 single showers, 2 single changing cubicles, female changing are that is communal. Labelled female

No. 2 Bath House has unsex toilet, shower and 2 changing areas. Labelled unisex

Council has not encountered this situation and does not have a policy surrounding the use of facilities by transgender people.

We currently don’t provide woman only sessions at our swim zone facilities. Our pools are open to all genders at any time.
