Gallagher Recreation Centre - Yes, they have communal single sex changing rooms.
Te Kuiti Aquatic Centre - Yes, they have a family/communal change room available for anyone.

Gallagher Recreation Centre – Yes, they have 10 single occupancy showering/changing facilities.
Te Kuiti Aquatic Centre – Yes, they have one single occupancy showering/changing facility.

Gallagher Recreation Centre
They do not have a policy regarding this although they have provided their Social Inclusion and Diversity statement. See attached. This can also be found on the Belgravia Leisure website.
Te Kuiti Aquatic Centre -They do not have a policy regarding this although they have advised that they follow the Recreation Aotearoa guidance, please see attached. This can also be accessed by public through the Recreation Aotearoa website.

Gallagher Recreation Centre -They have them labelled; Men, Woman and Disabled.
Te Kuiti Aquatic Centre - They have them labelled; Women/Wahine, Men/Male and Family/Disabled.
Q5: At your sites, which changing room and showering facilities is a trans-identified male permitted to use?
Gallagher Recreation Centre
They would use the disabled bathroom/shower facilities if they were not comfortable using the male or female bathrooms.
Te Kuiti Aquatic Centre
Men's changing rooms and showering facilities, consistent with their gender identity, if they are not comfortable, they would use the Family/Disabled bathrooms.
Q6: If applicable, do your facilities allow trans-identifying males to attend Women Only swim sessions?

It's all about the comfort of the trans identified person! Signage needs to reflect this.
