We have five single occupancy changing facilities, and one showering facility (also a disability shower)

N/A - we do not have any specific policies or procedures that apply to trans-identified people who wish to use the changing and showering facilities at our site.

Q5: At your sites, which changing room and showering facilities is a trans-identified male permitted to use?

As discussed, we have a communal male changing room, a communal female changing room, and then three individual toilets/ changing rooms. A trans-identifying male may use the communal male changing room or any one of the three individual toilet/changing rooms.
In addition, we have a single accessible bathroom/ shower/ changing room, which again can be used by a trans-identifying male.

Q6: If applicable, do your facilities allow trans-identifying males to attend Women Only swim sessions?

Our Verdict

Westland do not have written policies but do have clear rules that recognise biological sex.
